Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 26, 2026

These terms are the rules for using coopedupstudios.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Who we are

Cooped Up Studios (“we”, “us”) is owned and operated by Cooped Up Life LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. The studio’s work is created by Michelle Bradshaw, who also writes coopeduplife.com. Contact: coopeduplife@gmail.com or our contact page.

Who can use the site

You must be at least 13 to use the site, and if you are under 18 you need a parent or guardian’s permission to comment or contact us. Some stories and films may deal with mature themes; we note this on the post where it applies.

Made with AI, and fiction

The stories, shorts, movies, characters and images on this site are made with the help of AI tools, then written, directed and edited by us. Unless a post says otherwise, everything here is fiction. Characters, places and events are imaginary, and any resemblance to real people, living or dead, or to real events is coincidental. Posts in Behind the AI describe how we work and our own experience with these tools; they are general information, not professional advice, and AI tools and their terms change often, so check the current details before relying on them.

Affiliate links

Some posts may link to the AI tools and products we use. Right now these are plain links and we earn nothing from them. If we ever add affiliate links, we will say so clearly on the posts that use them, and commissions will never change what we say about a tool.

Using our content

The stories, videos, images, characters and other work on this site belong to Cooped Up Life LLC or to the people who licensed them to us, to the extent the law allows. You are welcome to:

  • read, watch and share links to any page;
  • quote a short excerpt or share a still with credit and a link back to the original post;
  • share our videos using the platform’s own share or embed tools.

Please do not, without our written permission:

  • re-upload, republish or remix our videos, stories or characters;
  • sell or commercially use our content or characters;
  • scrape or bulk-download the site, or use our content to train AI models.

We occasionally show third-party material for commentary, criticism, teaching or news reporting, as allowed by the fair use provisions of US copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 107). We do not claim ownership of that material.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, email coopeduplife@gmail.com with: the work you own, the page address where it appears, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, with your physical or electronic signature. We will review it promptly and remove material where appropriate.

Comments and things you send us

You keep ownership of anything you post or send. By posting a comment, you give us permission to display, store and moderate it on the site and in related social posts that link back to it. Sending us a story idea does not create a partnership or an obligation to pay you, and we may already be working on similar ideas; anything more needs a written agreement. Please keep comments kind and on topic. We may edit or remove any comment, for any reason, including comments that are:

  • abusive, hateful, harassing or threatening;
  • spam, advertising or self-promotion;
  • someone else’s private information;
  • copied from someone else without permission, or otherwise illegal.

Things you may not do

Do not try to hack, overload or disrupt the site, get into areas you are not allowed in, spread malware, or use the site to break any law.

Links and embedded content

We link to other websites and embed videos from platforms such as YouTube and TikTok. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. Read their terms before you use them.

No warranties

The site and everything on it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that the content is accurate, complete or current, or that the site will always be available or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cooped Up Life LLC, Cooped Up Studios and Michelle Bradshaw are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss or injury that results from using the site or relying on its content. If we are found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Georgia law, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you posted or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, including legal fees, that result.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a problem with the site, please email us first; we will try to sort it out within 30 days. If we cannot, any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of Georgia, and you and we agree to the jurisdiction of those courts. Either of us may instead bring an eligible claim in a Georgia magistrate (small claims) court.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply from then on.

The legal fine print

These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about using the site. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. We may transfer these terms to whoever takes over the site; you may not transfer them.
